Terms of Use

Last updated: August 5, 2026

1. Publisher

The Woofly application is published by Antoine Mourgues.
Contact: contact.antoinemourgues@gmail.com

2. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the Woofly mobile application ("the app"). By installing and using the app, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

3. The service

Based on local weather and the information you provide about your dog, Woofly gives an indicative opinion ("Go", "Caution", "Wait") to help you decide the right time for a walk, along with reminders and alerts.

Important: Woofly is a decision-support tool, not an authority. Verdicts and advice are provided for information only, computed from weather data that may be inaccurate or unavailable. They replace neither your own judgment nor a veterinarian's advice. You remain solely responsible for decisions about your pet. If you have any doubt about their health, consult a veterinarian.

4. Account

The app does not require an account. Your data is stored on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Woofly+ subscription

6. Intellectual property

The app, its content, brand, illustrations and computation engine are protected and remain the property of the publisher. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive right to use the app; any unauthorized reproduction or exploitation is prohibited.

7. Personal data

The processing of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

8. Availability and liability

We strive to keep the app working properly, without being able to guarantee uninterrupted availability or accuracy, in particular where weather data or your connection is unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held liable for decisions made based on the app or for any indirect loss.

9. Term and termination

You may stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the app in the event of misuse or breach of these terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, you may use a consumer mediation service. Failing an amicable resolution, the French courts have jurisdiction.

11. App Store and Google Play

The app is distributed via Apple's App Store and Google Play. Their respective terms also apply, including, for iOS, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available here.

12. Third-party licenses

Woofly uses the Meteocons weather icons — Copyright (c) 2020-present Bas Milius — under the MIT license (github.com/basmilius/meteocons).
